The Sony Xperia M c1905 was released in the month of June in 2013. The phone was released as a budget phone, and aimed to please a larger number of audience, which still cannot afford the high-level segment phones.

The phone was released with the Android Jelly Bean v.4.2.2 operating system, which is upgradeable to Jelly Bean v4.3. Dual-core 1 GHz Krait processor powers the device, with the chipset being Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus. The GPU/Graphics of the device are being powered by the Adreno 305. The unlocked cellphone is packed with a Li-ion 1750 mAh battery. The Sony Xperia M consists of a 1 GB of RAM, with an internal storage of 4 GB, out of which only 2 GB is available for the user to use, as the other 2 GB is consumed by the OS. The storage is expandable to 32 GB via the use of an external SD card.

The phone features a 5 MP rear-facing camera, at a resolution of 2592 õ 1944 pixels. The phone is capable of recording 720p videos at 30 frames per second. The unlocked cellphone also has a secondary front-facing camera for clicking selfies, and recording low quality videos.
