Sony Xperia E C1505 is a mid-range device, launched in March 2013. Sony launched the phone initially with a motive of capturing share in India, by targeting the low-budgeted audience. The phone is packed with decent specifications considering the cost of ownership.
Hardware and Processing Power
The phone sports 512MB, backed by a 1GHz single core Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 chipset. To power the graphics, Adreno 200 GPU is included. 4GB of memory is provided, however, is limited to 2GB only as user accessible. Sony has provided a memory card slot that can be used to expand the memory up to 32GB.
Display and Camera
A 3.15ML rear camera is offered with the Sony Xperia C1505, which can also be used to record videos on 30fps in 640x480 resolution. The screen used is a 3.5 inch 480x320 resolution panel, which has an output of 165ppi density. The touch supports only 2 finger touch at a time, and is protected by a scratch resistant glass.
Sony Xperia E C1505 is an unlocked cellphone, which means that one will be able to swap out sim cards to switch to different network operator as per his or her wish. The phone supports 3G networks, while one can use 2G by changing the mobile network settings. The phone is packed with a Wi-Fi receiver and v2.1 Bluetooth module, which enables a user to send and receive files via Wi-Fi direct or Bluetooth. One will also be able to use the unlocked cellphone as a Wi-Fi hotspot, being supported.
