Motorola DEFY XT535 (Unlocked Quadband) GSM Cell Phone
Motorola is trying to take down a larger pie in the Indian smartphone market, and therefore launching mid-budgeted smartphones in the market. The Motorola DEFY XT535 Android Smartphone was announced in February 2012, launched with the aim stated above. The phone supports some decent set of specifications, considering the price point.
The processing power and software
The phone is bundled with a 1GHz Snapdragon S1 MSM7227A-0 AA, which supports only one core. Backing this is 512MB of RAM. The internal storage capacity is 1GB, which can further be increased up to 32GB via a microSD Card to use the unlocked cellphone media capability(images, apps etc.). Included will be a 1650 mAh battery that will juice the phone for 1 day or more.
Motorola is shipping the phone with MotoSwitch UI on top of Android 2.3.7 pre-installed. The phone is capable of handling only one SIM card at a time. The phone provides 3G support for faster network speeds.
Display, Design and features
LG G70 Dual Sim 375 rocks an 854x480 TFT panel, sized to 3.7 inches. The viewing angles seem to be good and colour reproduction is very accurate. Overall, the aesthetics of the phone seem to be borrowed from Droid RAZR. Being Android OS, the phone can be rooted to use it as an unlocked cellphone.
The phone houses two snappers, one at front and one at back. The former is 5MP, while the front one is a VGA camera. The rear camera can record videos up to 480p. One can use an unlocked cellphone and install camera apps to enhance the performance.
