Motorola Motokey Social / EX225 (Unlocked Quadband) Touchscreen Phone
The Motorola Motokey Social was released in the month of November, 2011. The device was released with a Touchscreen, and also had full QWERTY keyboard support for an easier typing experience. The phone was a low-budget device, with a Java based operating system, so it could not multi-task like the other smartphones. The phone could be used for basic internet browsing, calling, sending/receiving SMS etc.
Software & Hardware
The phone mainly ran on a Java-based operating system. The device is packed with a Li-ion 910 mAh battery, which can last an entire day, with moderate usage of internet, calling etc. The Motorola Motokey Social consists of 64 MB of RAM for running applications, and consists of 128 MB ROM storage. The storage is expandable via the use of an external MicroSD card for storing multimedia items such as images, videos, audios etc.
Design & Display
The screen size of the Motorola Motokey Social is 2.4-Inches and is a TFT capacitive display, with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, with a pixel per inch (ppi) density of 167. The phone supports a touchscreen along with a full QWERTY Keyboard. The dimensions of the unlocked cellphone are 105.5 x 60 x 9.9 mm, with a weight of 87 grams.
The phone features an 3.15 Megapixel rear-facing camera, which is capable of capturing decent photographs, at a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The unlocked cellphone is capable of recording standard videos at 30 fps. There is no secondary front-facing camera provided in the device.
