Motorola MILESTONE 2 (Unlocked Quadband) GSM Cell Phone
The Motorola Milestone 2 was released in the month of September, 2010. The phone was a touch screen smartphone, and consisted of a QWERTY keyboard for better typing experience. The phone contained decent features, and could record HD videos.
Software & Hardware
The phone runs on the Android Froyo v2.2 operating system, which was upgradeable to Android Gingerbread v2.3, powered by a TI OMAP 3630 1 GHz Cortex-A8 processor. The PowerVR SGX530 chipset is used as the Graphical processing unit in the device. The device is packed with a Li-ion 1400 mAh battery, which can provide a good standby time with moderate usage. The Motorola Milestone 2 consists of 512 MB of RAM for running applications and multi-tasking between them, and consists of 8 GB of internal memory for installing applications. The storage is expandable to 32 GB via the use of an external MicroSD card for storing multimedia items such as images, videos, audios etc.
Design & Display
The screen size of the Motorola Milestone 2 is 3.7-Inches and is a TFT capacitive display, with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, with a pixel per inch (ppi) density of 265. The dimensions of the unlocked cellphone are 116.3 x 60.5 x 13.7 mm, with a weight of 169 grams.
Camera
The phone features an 5 Megapixel rear-facing camera, which is capable of capturing decent photographs, at a resolution of 2592 õ 1944 pixels. The unlocked cellphone is capable of recording videos of 720p at 30 fps. There is no secondary front-facing camera available in the device.
