LG A290 Black (Unlocked Quadband) Triple Sim Cell Phone
The LG A290 Black is an unlocked cellphone, primarily famous for its dual sim capabilities. LG A290 falls under the category of feature phones, launched in 2012. The phone only sports 2G networks and Indian bands.
Hardware and Software
The LG A290 Black sports 19MB of ROM, which can be expanded by a microSD Card, being limited up to 4GB only. A total of 1000 contacts can be stored on the internal memory. A MediaTek MT6523 processor powers the phone, which is enough to keep the system smooth and working.
A microUSB 2.0 port is installed on the lower side of the phone. To allow the sound output, a loudspeaker is installed on the backside of the phone. Being a keypad fitted on the front of device, the screen to body ratio falls to 26.3% only.
Display and Camera
The phone rocks a 176x220 2.2-inch display, which totals the pixel per inch to 128. The phone can reproduce only 256K colours at a time.
Only a single camera is provided, being a rear facing. The camera can capture images up to 1280x960 pixels and record videos in resolution 176x144 at 15 frames per second. The camera is decent, megapixel count being 1.3 only.
The phone is capable of sending and receiving files via Bluetooth. Users will be able to listen to local FM Radio stations, one needs to insert earphones to use the features. MMS and Email can also be composed and sent directly to the recipient via the phone itself.
