Blackberry Porsche is a smartphone released by Blackberry in 2011 in month of December. The construction is solid and reliable. Porsche has a somewhat different design and appeal than other Blackberrys. 

Software & Hardware

The unlocked cellphone operates on BlackBerry OS 7. BlackBerry Porsche is based on Qualcomm MSM8655 Snapdragon S2 chipset. Smartphone hardware includes a powerful 1.2 GHz processor. The cellphone also boosts adreno 205. The smartphone comes with 768MB RAM. Though the internal memory has 8GB storage, it can be extended upto 32GB using a microSD card. The smartphones comes in GSM and HSPA version. Both the HSPA versions, locked and unlocked support 3G. This smartphone has other features like Bluetooth, Wi-fi and A-GPS. The smartphone packs a 1230 mAh Li-ion battery. It also has features such as NFC, proximity sensor, accelerometer and compass. A microUSB port is present for charging and PC connection. The unlocked cellphone takes a mini sim.

BlackBerry’s iconic optical trackpad is also present. 

Display & Design

It is available in Gray and black colors.

The smartphone has dimensions 115 by 67 by 11.3mm. The 2.8-inch display packs a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels giving the display an approximate 286 ppi pixel density. The TFT capacitive touchscreen display is capable of producing 16 million colors. The multi touch feature is also present. 

Camera

Blackberry Porsche packs a primary 5-megapixel camera capable of taking 2592 x 1944 pixel snaps. The camera packs additional features such as geo tagging and face detection. It will be unfair not to mention autofocus capabilities of camera.

Camera is also capable of recording 720p video.
