• A genuine website will never send you mails to update your “Financial Information’s” or ask credit card information over the mail.

• These scam sites may sell obsolete products or even new products. They can also use authentic logos, links of a real web page or a name of a real person. You must check the URL and spelling before providing your valuable information.

• You may accidentally reach to a phony website by typing error, fraud emails, and links from other websites etc. Please verify the authenticity before dealing with them.

• They will never accept checks or ask you to send payments via checks. Please verify the details.

• Please look for security logos such as Hacker Safe, Control scan and click on them to verify if they are valid or not.

E-mail Frauds, Phishing:

This is another form of scam that tricks innocent people to provide financial information. You may receive fraudulent emails using genuine logos or even genuine website name. Check the URL in browser first as in most of the cases these links goes to an IP address, Misspelled domains, or any other domains. Researching a bit can save you from being one of the victims of Phishing or Mail frauds.

• We need to verify your identity because your account appears to have been used by a third party in violation of the law.

• Your account will be closed unless your information is updated.

• You’re required to verify your account information due to new security measures put in place to protect your account from identity theft.
