Q. What is an Unlocked Phone?
A. An Unlocked Cell Phone is a GSM phone that can be used with different GSM compatible carriers worldwide. To get the phone working, all that is needed to do is put the carrier's SIM card into the phone. Unlocked phones can be used within the United States using T-Mobile, Cingular, AT&T etc. and with many other GSM service providers in the world provided the frequencies on the phone match those of the carrier. On each phone's product page there is a compatibility check for carriers to help you decide better. There are two types of Unlocked cell phones offered on our website:
OEM Unlocked phones
These phones come directly from the manufacturer (like Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, etc. from overseas) and have not been assigned to any service provider/operator. These phones come in manufacturer's original packaging. OEM phones do not have any service provider's logos or customization. They can be configured for Internet and MMS settings with other providers. There is international warranty on all OEM unlocked phones.
Carrier/Operator Unlocked phones
These Unlocked phones from Carrier/Operator are the phones that were originally locked to specific service provider (like T-Mobile, Cingular etc) and then unlocked by means of unlocking codes or software. These phones usually have carrier's/operator’s customization in the menu and logos; and may not be configured for Internet and MMS settings with other providers. These phones carry local warranty of the country where the carrier operates.

Q. What does "Open Box" mean?
A. Open Box means the phone was simply taken out of the box and put back. The call timers read 0, the phone is in good cosmetic and functional condition, and everything is included in the original package. Items are fully tested and working, and may contain minor blemishes from normal usage. If contents of the package are missing, it will be noted in the products description. Open Box items can only be returned within 7 Days.

Q. How long does it take for the phone to reach me?
A. For most orders the following shipping schedule is followed:
Ground Shipping : 4-6 Business Days
Express Saver : 3-4 Business Days
2nd Day : 2 Business Days
Standard Overnight: Next Business Day Evening
Priority Overnight: Next Business Day Morning (By 11.00 am in most Cities)
Priority Overnight Saturday : All order shipped on Friday are delivered Saturday by noon
To ensure customer security and fraud prevention, we only ship to the addresses that are listed with your credit card company. Also we ensure all charges are approved and validly transacted before shipping the goods therefore some orders may get delayed because of a slow response from the customer’s credit card company.
You will be contacted via email and/or phone if the billing department requires more information to process your order. Your order status will be visible on the Order Status page and will also be relayed to you via email. Please respond to queries as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary delays.

Q. When will my Credit or Debit card be billed?
A. We authorize the amount from your credit card when you place the order, but your account is charged the date your order about to be shipped.

Q. Can I ship the item to an address not listed with my credit card company (office, friend's house, etc.)?
A. To ensure customer security, we only ship to the addresses that are listed with your credit card company,. If you are providing us an address to ship your product that is not listed with your credit card company, it is suggested to call your credit card company to have the shipping address listed so that your order is not delayed. Orders may get delayed because of this due to the extra time needed to ensure no fraud has taken place.

Q. What kind of warranties does the phone comes with?
A. Every product sold on our website is under warranty by the manufacturer for the period of one year from the date of purchase. The manufacturer's warranty covers repair or replacement of defective parts under manufacturer's warranty guide lines.
OEM (original equipment manufacturer) or Unlocked phones may carry international warranty. In such cases you need to contact the manufacturer overseas to have the product repaired or exchanged. You can also contact our customer service for more details.

Q. The phones sold on CellHUT.com are they brand new or refurbished?
A. Unless otherwise specified, the merchandise that we sell is brand new, directly from the manufacturer, and factory sealed. All merchandise includes the standard factory packaging, accessories, paperwork and warranty. We will gladly exchange a defective item within a 14-day period. We will also refund a purchase if not completely satisfied in accordance with our return policy. (See "REFUND" in terms and conditions for details)

Q. How does a customer get a replacement if the phone was damaged in transit?
A. If merchandise arrives damaged, it is best to REFUSE it back to the delivery carrier. If you accept the package, make sure it is noted on the carrier's delivery record in order for CellHUT.com to file a claim. Save the merchandise AND the original box and packing it arrived in, notify cellhut.com immediately to arrange for a carrier inspection. If you do not notify CellHUT.com of all damaged goods within the first 3 days of arrival, our normal return policy will override any claim of damage, and claims will fall under all current manufacturer restrictions. Once a claim is filled with the shipping carrier, CellHUT.com will process a replacement for you. You can contact us at 1-877-235-8255.

Q. How does a customer get a replacement if the phone is lost during shipping?
A. All shipments are insured and guaranteed against loss, theft, and damage. If merchandise is lost while in transit please call CellHUT.com to file a claim. Once a claim if filled with the shipping carrier, CellHUT.com will process a replacement order for you. This may take few days so we request that our customers to please be patient. Q. How can a customer get a RMA number for a return or exchange?
A. Customers MUST call in to our customer service department to request for a RMA number for either a return or an exchange. Please note no returns or exchanges will be accepted without an RMA number. NO EXCEPTIONS. Any merchandise returned to CellHut.com without an RMA number will be refused and sent back to the customer at customer's own expense.
An RMA number is valid for 14 days from issued date. Products being returned must be in its original, undamaged condition in the original manufacturer box accompanied by all packaging, manuals, and accessories. Product must be 100% complete with ALL original box(es) and packaging materials, have original UPS codes on the manufacturer's box(es), product manuals, blank warranty cards and other accessories and documentation provided by the manufacturer.
Blister-packed opened items, Software’s once opened, Digital Memory Cards (any kind), and Batteries are not acceptable for return or exchanges.

Q. What are MMS/Internet settings?
A. Most phones sold on CellHUT.com are unlocked phones, e.g. capable of working on more than one carrier. These phones are capable of sending and receiving text messages, but if you want to use internet browsing or multimedia messaging these phones need to be configured for your service provider. MMS/Internet settings are done by CellHUT.com reps before shipping the phone to you for a one time charge of $25.00.

Q. How do I get the tracking number of my order?
A. Once your order has been shipped, a tracking number will be immediately emailed to mailbox you provided during the ordering process. You can also find your tracking number at the order status link on our web site once your order is shipped.

Q. Does CellHUT ship to APO and PO Box addresses?
A. Yes , CellHUT does ship to both APO and PO box address. All the shipments going to APO addresses are delayed due to security screening purposes. All the shipments sent to PO box addresses are sent only via USPS certified and insured mail which may take up to 7 to 10 bussiness days. *NOTE: Adult signature is required.

Q. What is CellHUT's Return Policy?
A. A. All Replacements and Exchanges by CellHUT.com can be processed within a 14 day period. Please note no returns or exchanges will be accepted without an RMA number. NO EXCEPTIONS. Any merchandise returned to CellHut.com without an RMA number will be refused and sent back to the customer at customer's own expense.
All Defective/Non-Defective items returned for an Exchange within 14 day period are subject to no restocking fee. Shipping fee is NON REFUNDABLE.
All Defective/Non-Defective items returned for Refund within the 14 day period are subject to the following:
· Dead on Arrival (D.O.A): Faulty or not as described products can be returned for refund. RMA’s requested within the first 7 days period will be eligible for a full refund. Shipping fee is NON REFUNDABLE.
Any RMA requested after the seven day period will be subject to 10% restocking fee. Shipping fee is NON REFUNDABLE.
· All non defective items can be returned within 14 day return period and are subject to 15% restocking fee. Shipping fee is NON REFUNDABLE. Additional restocking fee may apply if the product is found damaged, abused by the customer.
Note: All returns must be accompanied by your ORIGINAL sales receipt. Product must be in its original condition without any scratches or damage in the original manufacturer box accompanied with all packaging, manuals, and accessories. See our Terms and Conditions for more details.
All Refused Deliveries: Orders cancelled after being shipped and refused upon delivery are subject to a 10% of product value cancellation fee and shipping fee is non refundable. NO EXCEPTIONS WHAT SO EVER.

Q. Does CellHUT process International orders?
A. We are glad to inform our customers that as of November 1, 2006 we are now accepting orders from Canada. Currently, we only accept payments via Paypal, U.S. Money Orders and Wire Transfers orders placed from Canada.

Q. I placed and received my order, now I see a price change, will I receive a refund?
A. We apologize for any inconvenience which this situation may have caused. We have no intention to mislead or deceive our valued customers. However, our web prices can change daily or even hourly depending upon our cost from the manufacturer for any particular product. When we make changes in a price on our website, it may take our advertising affiliates and search engines up to 24 hours to record that change. Due to the effect of product availability on price fluctuations, as a result we can not honor a lower price once an order has been placed. Hence, no refunds will be issued for price differences.

Q. Can an item be rerouted while in transit to the customer?
A. We cannot reroute the packages while they are in transit. Any reroute request will result in the shipment being sent back to CellHut.com. Customer is responsible for all charges under our return policy.
