PRODUCT INFORMATION:
T-Mobile Shadow 2 (Unlocked Quadband) GSM Cell Phone
T-Mobile's updated version of the Shadow, which replaced the previous smartphone of the same name, is known as "the new T-Mobile Shadow," the "Shadow II" or the "Shadow 2009." The smartphone runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard (non-touchscreen) and was the first Windows Mobile handset from T-Mobile to work with the company's HotSpot Home Wi-Fi VoIP service. The Windows Mobile 6.1 phone is a smallish smartphone with a slide-out SureType keyboard. There is a scroll wheel in the center of the phone, below the screen, and the standard array of keys all around. Nothing special, and the only improvements over the original are cosmetic, and not functional. We complained about the boxy shell of the original, so the new phone is more rounded. The scroll wheel seems to be a bit more responsive, but it still isn't good enough to be useful, thanks mostly to the astoundingly inconsistent interface.
