The Sony Z250was released in the market in the month of October of 2008. It was released as a basic model, and has basic features like SMS, Calling, Radioetc. The phone also supports a flip design.
Hardware and Software
The Sony Z250 is a very basic phone model and runs on a Java based operating system. There is no MicroSD slot available in the device for storing media such as video and audio. The internal storage of the device is 10 MB, which can be used for installing application and storing items. The device is able to support phonebook and can store up to 30 received, dialed and missed calls.There is no 3.5 mm jack slot is provided for inserting the headphones.
Design and display
The unlocked cellphone weighs just 90 grams with the dimensions of 85 x 47 x 19.5 mm. The user has to insert a mini SIM inside the phone to make it function. The screen size of the device is 1.8 inches, with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels. The screen to body ratio is 25.5%with a pixel density of 114ppi.
There is a VGA rear-facing camera available in the Sony Z250 for clicking photographs, capable of taking decent photographs, however, it cannot record videos. A removable Li-ion battery can be found used in the device, and being a basic phone model, the battery can last the device 1-2 days. It offers up to 300 hours of standby time and up to 7 hours of talk time.
