The Samsung Rex 90 S5282 was released in the month of February in 2013. The phone was released as a low-end budget phone to appeal to a wider number of audience. Being a low-end budget mobile, the phone does not support 3G services for faster internet access.
Software & Hardware
The phone was released with Samsung’s own operating system, based on their TouchWiz UI. The phone is packed with a 1000 mAh removable battery, and can last 1-2 days based upon your usage of the phone. The Samsung Rex consists of 20 MB of internal storage, which can be extended upto 32 GB with the use of an external MicroSD card.
Design & Display
The screen size of the Samsung Rex is 3.5-Inches and is a HVGA capacitive display, with a screen resolution of 480 x 320, and features a color depth of 262,200. The Dimensions of the phone are 113 x 61.9 x 11.9 mm. The images look decent on the phone, while the screen is itself reflective. The primary SIM Slot is available under the battery, which means you have to take out the battery in order to change it, while the secondary Sim slot, along with the SD card slot is available for hot-swapping.
The phone consists of a 3.2 MP rear camera, which can shoot images of 2048 x 1536 pixels with no flash and auto-focus options available. The images and videos shot from the camera comes out decent. There is no secondary camera featured in this device.
