The Samsung Galaxy Young 2 duos was released in the month of October in 2014. The phone served as the successor to the Galaxy Young (Galaxy Y). It is one of the lowest priced devices by Samsung, and does not feature premium features.
Software & Hardware
The phone runs on the Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI atop on the Android Kitkat v4.4.2 Operating System. The device is powered by a 1 GHz Cortex-A7. The device is packed with a Li-ion 1300 mAh battery. Samsung Galaxy Young 2 consists of 512 MB of RAM for multi-tasking and running apps, and features 4 GB of internal storage for installing apps. The storage is expandable up to 32 GB via the use of a MicroSD card.
Design & Display
The Samsung Galaxy Young 2 features a 3.5-Inches and features TFT capacitive display, having a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, with a pixel per inch (ppi) density of 165. The colors on the phone does not come out excellent, but they are fine to be looked with the naked eye. The Dimensions of the phone are 109.8 x 59.9 x 11.8 mm, with a weight of 108 grams.
The phone consists of a 3.15 MP rear camera, which is capable of taking decent photos, and can capture photos of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The photographs of the camera looks average, and does not capture as many details. The phone is capable of recording 480p videos at 24 frame per second. No secondary camera is offered in the device.
