The Samsung A637 is a basic candybar phone that gets all the necessities right. Granted, there aren’t a lot of technological features incorporated with this phone. There is the standard battery life of 4 hours when used to talk, and a pretty basic 1.3 Megapixel Camera. The camera resolution is 1280 x 1024 which means that images will come out in good quality, not mindblowing in any way. In a time when 3.2 Megapixels are the standard and many phones now feature 8 Megapixels, 1.3 can look pretty anemic.
This is not a phone for a power user. It’s just an easy to use phone that anyone can pick up and put down without a problem. Some other features include EDGE, 3G connectivity, Bluetooth, and of course messaging and a WAP 2.0 browser.
This Quad-Band phone has a great display that dhows images and texts clearly so you won’t be squinting to make out any details. This phone can also take advantage of AT&T multimedia servies.
