The Nokia X2-01 was released in the market in the month of November 2011 December. It was released as a basic model, and has basic features like SMS, Calling, Radio, Bluetooth, QWERTY keypad etc.

The Nokia X2-01 is a basic phone model and runs on a Java based operating system. The memory of the unlocked cellphone can be expanded up to 16 GB of storing media such as video and audio. It is a fact worth nothing that inserting a MicroSD card would become a compulsion, as the internal storage provided is 55 MB, which is extremely low. You also get 64 MB of RAM for running the applications, along with 128 of ROM. A 3.5 mm jack slot is provided for inserting the headphones.
Design and display
The unlocked cellphone weighs just 107.5 grams with the dimensions of 119.4 x 59.8 x 14.3 mm. The user has to insert a mini SIM inside the phone to make it function. The phone consists of a QWERTY keypad for easier typing experience. The screen size of the device is 2.4 inches, with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The screen to body ratio is 25.0% with a pixel density of 167 ppi.
Camera & Battery
There is a VGA rear-facing camera available in the Nokia X2-01 for clicking photographs, capable of taking photos of 640 x 480 pixels resolution, and can record videos of 320p at 24 fps. A 1020 mAh battery can be found used in the device, and being a basic phone model, the battery can last the device 1-2 days.
