The Nokia 100 was released in the market in the month of August 2011. It was released as a basic model, and consisted of basic features such as SMS, Calling, Radio, Bluetooth, a Flashlight etc. The device comes in various colors, which are Festival Pink, Legion Blue, Coral Red, Ocean Blue Phantom Black.
Hardware and Software
The Nokia 100 is a very basic phone model and runs on a Java based operating system. There is no MicroSD card slot available for storing media such as video and audio. There is a small amount of internal storage available in the device for storing data. You can keep call records and phonebook is also available, and you can store up to 500 phonebook entries. A 3.5 mm jack slot is provided for inserting the headphones.
Design and display
The unlocked cellphone weighs just 69.6 grams with the dimensions of 110 x 45.5 x 14.9 mm. The user has to insert a mini SIM inside the phone to make it function. The screen size of the device is 1.8 inches, with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels. The screen to body ratio is 20.4% with a pixel density of 114 pixel per inch density.
Camera & Battery
There is no rear or front facing camera in the Nokia 100 for clicking photographs or recording videos. A 850 mAh battery can be found used in the device, and being a basic phone model, the battery can last the device one day. Moreover, the standby and talk time are pretty decent.
