Motorola RAZR MAXX (Unlocked Quadband) Android Smartphone
The Motorola RAZR MAXX was launched as a mid-range capturing premium smartphone. Both the locked cellphone variant and unlocked cellphone variant are sold in the market. The phone steals looks from Motorola’s Droid series.
The phone supports 1GB RAM, backing this is a Dual Core TI OMAP 1.2GHz CPU. Motorola RAZR MAXX does not lag in day-to-day usage; however, an older GPU can lead to the same when graphic intensive games are loaded.
RAZR MAXX supports 16GB of primary memory to the customers, which can be bumped to 32GB when inserted a microSD card. A 4.3” 960x540 resolution screen is provided. The colour reproduction is accurate and good thanks to software optimizations. An 8MP snapper is provided for mobile photography lovers, which also record some crispy videos up to 1080p at 30fps. A 1.3MP camera is provided at the front, which is capable of recording videos in 720p. A loudspeaker is installed on the back side of the phone.
Additional mic and noise cancellation ports are provided to make calls clear and reduce the noise from background. A 3300mAh lithium ion battery will be packed that will juice the phone for more than two days easily, considering the software.
Connectivity and other options
3G support is provided, while those preferring 2G will can also switch to the network manually. The phone is powered by Android v2.3.6 and is upgradable to v4.1.2. The unlocked cellphone i.e. Motorola RAZR MAXX weighs only 145g and 9mm thick, providing premium look, without compromising in with the weight department.
