Motorola GLEAM Plus (Unlocked Dualband) GSM Flip Cell Phone
Motorola GLEAM Plus WX308 is a low-ranged device, launched in March 2012. Motorola launched the phone with an aim of spreading roots in India, by targeting the low-budgeted audience. The phone is bundled with low-end specifications considering the overhead cost.
Hardware and Processing Power
The phone supports 64MB, backed by a 256MHz single core chipset. There is no hardware provided to power graphics. 50MB of memory is provided that can be used to store 1000 contacts. Motorola has opened a micro SD card slot that can be used to expand the memory up to 16GB.
Display and Camera
A 2mp rear facing camera is provided with the Motorola GLEAM Plus WX308, which can also be used to record videos at 30fps in 1600x1200 resolution. The screen used is a 2.7 inch 240x320 resolution TFT screen, which has an output of 165ppi density. The touch supports only 2 finger touch at a time, and is protected by a scratch resistant glass.
Motorola GLEAM Plus WX308 is an unlocked cellphone, which means that one will be able to swap out sim cards to switch to different network operator as per his or her wish. The phone supports only 2G networks, and only a GSM Sim. The phone is packed with a v2.1 Bluetooth module, which enables a user to send and receive files via Bluetooth. One will also be able to use the unlocked cellphone as a storage hub, as support for transferring files via USB cable is also embedded into the phone.
