The phone is packed with Li-ion 1785 non-removable mAh battery. The Motorola DROID 4 consists of a 1 GB of RAM, with an internal storage of 16 GB. The storage is expandable up to 32 GB via the use of an external MicroSD card.

The unlocked cellphone features a 8 MP rear-facing camera, at a resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels. The phone is able to capture decent photographs, and is capable of recording videos of 1080p at 30 frames per second. A secondary 1.3 MP front-facing camera is also included in the device, which can be used to click selfies and for video chatting.
