LG Octane (Verizon Wireless) QWERTY Cell Phone
LG Octane is a phone by LG that was brought out in the year 2010. Please note that it is not a GSM device, therefore it would not work on any of the GSM networks. You will have to insert a mini CDMA SIM card in it to make it function. It works on CDMA/ EVDO technology and does not support EDGE and GPRS. The phone was announced and released in the month of October 2010.
Body and Display:
It has the dimensions of 4.21 x 2.17 x 0.63 inches and weighs 128 grams. The screen of the phone is a TFT one that has 256 k colors and 35.6% screen to body ratio. You have to insert a mini SIM card in the phone to make it function. You are provided with a QWERTY keypad in the phone that helps you to type effortlessly. The pixel density of the screen is 154 ppi.
Memory and Platform:
The internal memory of the phone is quite low. However, you can put in a MicroSD card in the phone to expand your storage space and store a considerable amount of data. A MicroSD card of up to 16 GB can be inserted in the phone.
The phone does not have both the front as well as the rear cameras. There is only rear camera of 3.15 megapixels. It has features such as auto focus, geo tagging, LED flash, etc. You may also shoot videos with your rear camera. The image quality will be an average one, nevertheless.
