LG GD510 Pop Black (Unlocked Quadband) Touchscreen Cell Phone
LG GD 510 Pop is also known by the name of LG GD 510 Cookie Pep in India or LG GD 510 Twilight special edition. It works on a GSM/ HSPA technology and supports Class 12 GPRS and Class 12 EDGE. It was announced in September 2009. However, the company launched this phone in the market in October 2009. Following are the other details about the phone that you must know before buying the phone:
Body and Display:
The phone comes in dimensions of 3.85 x 1.95 x 0.44 inches and weighs 87 grams in total. The screen size of the phone is 3 inches, which makes it 52.9% of the screen to body ratio. The screen is a TFT resistive touchscreen with 256 K colors and 155-ppi pixel density. Since the phone works on a GSM technology, so you will have to insert a mini GSM SIM card in the phone to make it function and to be able to send and receive phone calls and text messages.
The internal memory of the phone is just 42 MB that can be expanded up to 16 GB by inserting a MicroSD card in it. The phone saves as much as 1000 contacts at a time in its phone book. It also saves last 20 dialed calls, last 20 received calls and last 20 missed calls.
There is no front camera in the phone. There is just a rear camera of 3.15 megapixels. It has features like autofocus, geo tagging, etc. The phone comes in black, silver and twilight colors. You can choose whichever color you desire.
NOTE : THIS GD 510 WILL NOT WORK WITH AT&T'S 3G SIM CARD, IT WOKRS WITH OLD AT&T / CINGULAR SIM CARD THAT DOESNT SAY "3G" ON THE BACK OF THE SIM CARD.
