The Huawei IDEOS S7 was released in 2010 in Q1. It was released as a low segment tablet, made to appeal to a larger number of audience.

The device was released with Android Éclair v2.1 OS, further upgradeable to Froyo v2.2. The Huawei IDEOS S7 is powered by a Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon S1 chipset, while the processor is 1 GHz Scorpion. The graphical processing unit of the device is powered by Adreno 200. The device has an internal storage of 8 GB for installing applications and 256 MB of RAM for running applications. A MicroSD card of up to 32 GB can be inserted in the device for expanding the storage for installing additional media, such as video or audio. The tablet is packed with a Li-ion 2200 mAh capacity battery for a prolonged battery life.
Design & Display
The screen size of the unlocked tablet is 7.0 Inches, and it is a TFT display panel with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, with a pixel per inch density of 133. The dimensions of the unlocked tablet are 209 x 108 x 15.5 mm, and its weight is around 500 grams.
The Huawei IDEOS S7 features a 2 MP rear camera, capable of clicking photographs of resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. The camera of the device is good, and is able to capture fine amount of details. It can also record videos. There is a secondary 2 MP front-facing camera available in the device for clicking selfies and recording videos of 720p.
