HP Pro 3130 sits in a black glossy mini tower, with space for two optical drives and up to three hard drives. It can be equipped with Intel's Pentium, Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7 processors, along with hard drives up to 2 terabytes, up to 16 GB of DDR3 memory, optical drives including Blu-ray writers, media card readers, and HP's Pocket Media Drive bay. The system comes with integrated Intel GMA X4500HD graphics, but there is also a PCIe x16 card slot free for upgraded graphics and three PCIe x1 card slots for other upgrades. The system is designed to sit on the floor or on a desktop, with an upward tilt in the design to make optical drive and USB access easier. The HP Pro 3130's flexibility extends to choice of operating system: the system can be equipped with Windows 7 Professional, Home Premium, Ultimate, SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 11, FreeDOS, and Windows XP Pro (through a Windows 7 Pro downgrade).
