BlackBerry Bold 9900 is till date the thinnest phone ever introduced by the Research In Motion (RIM). Its thickness is only 10.5 mm, which makes Black Berry Bold a refreshing phone in the RIM series. Its touch and type feature, along with 2.8 inch long touch screen and a QWERTY keypad. The Bold 9900 is not only the thinnest RIM phone, but is also the first phone to feature the Black Berry 7 Operating System. This up graded mobile platform brings along with itself a lot improved features such as better browser performance, swifter graphics and also extensive support for increased reality apps. The BlackBerry Bold 9900 is powered by single core 1.2 GHz Processor and a RAM of 768 MB.

Camera quality
The thinnest black berry 9900 has an amazing 5 mega pixel camera fitted at the back end of the mobile. It has various impressive features such as 4x digital zoom and flash etc. It also offers various features like geo tagging, image stabilization and face detection etc. Owing to the new and much improved features packed in this phone, the BlackBerry Bold 9900 is also capable of video recording of 720p HD.

The Design
With a screen resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, the BlackBerry Bold 9900 has incorporated within itself, the liquid graphics in the touch screen, which is a remarkable feature by RIM. Thus, the phone is able to give liquid fluid animations and instance response times, which makes you touch screen experience even more worthwhile.
BlackBerry Bold 9900 has a slim and sleep look, with brushed stainless steel rims on its edges and a smooth carbon back. The key pad is wide, and has enough room for each key and in order to make typing easier; the keys are a little elevated. The keys and navigation controls are illuminated, which enables you to type in the darkness.

Storage and battery
 The internal memory of Bold 9900 is 8 GB and it can be extended to 32 GB with micro SD card. The battery back up is of 6 hours in 2G and 5 hours in 3G networks.

Connectivity and features
Internet connections are possible via Wi Fi, 3G etc. and for file transfer the phones offers Bluetooth and USB functions. The Near Field Communication allows for easy data exchange, smart tagging, accessory pairing and a lot of other features.
